- 生物活性 Phytohemagglutinin (PHA, Phaseolus vulgaris agglutinin) 在毕赤酵母中利用天然信号肽或酿酒酵母α-因子前体序列表达，将蛋白质引导至分泌途径。Phytohemagglutinin 可通过增加凋亡蛋白 Bax 和激活 caspases-3 来诱导人HEp-2癌细胞的凋亡。

Apoptosis Analysis
Cell Line: A20 (mouse B cell lymphoma, TLB-208), BW5147.3 (mouse T cell lymphoma, TIB-47), EL4 (mouse T cell lymphoma, TIB-39) [1] Concentration: 20 μg/ml Incubation Time: 20-48 hours Result: Enhanced apoptosis in A20, BW5147.3 and EL4 cells. -

Phytohemagglutinin (100 μg; i.p.; daily for 2 days) inhibits A20 tumor growth.
Animal Model: CB17-SCID Mice (bearing A20 cells) Dosage: 100 μg Administration: I.p.; daily for 2 days Result: Inhibited A20 tumor growth. - 用途 PHA是一种促细胞分裂原（mitogen）。在体外能刺激小淋细胞转化成具有免疫活性的淋细胞，并促进其分裂。转化的淋巴细胞能分泌各种淋巴因子。 1、PHA对外周周血淋巴细胞的转化作用。外周血淋巴细胞与PHA在体外一起培养，可使小淋巴细胞转化为淋巴母细胞。 2、PHA刺激淋巴细胞有丝分裂。 3、PHA能增强淋巴细胞玫瑰花环率，可用以判断机体细胞免疫功能。 4、PHA有促进腹腔巨噬细胞的吞噬作用。 5、PHA能诱导产生细胞移动抑制因子。 6、PHA能用于淋巴细胞亚太群研究。
