Chemical Properties
Black (or dark green) powder. The solubility in water (50°C) is 65g/L. The aqueous solution is dark blue-green, add 1mol/L sodium hydroxide solution to turn blue, then add hydrosulfite and warm it to become colorless, and add sodium perborate to still be colorless.
Uses
Reactive green 19 can be used for dyeing and printing of cotton fiber.
Synthesis
Reactive green 19 can be obtained by reacting H acid, p-nitroaniline o-sulfonic acid, cyanuric chloride and p-aminobenzenesulfonic acid as raw materials.
