Preparation
Weigh 2.4000g sodium hydroxide and dissolve it in 30mL distilled water to make sodium hydroxide solution; Weigh 11.4684g nitrilotriacetic acid and dissolve it in the newly prepared sodium hydroxide solution , the reaction was stirred for 0.5h, and finally the trisodium nitrilotriacetate was obtained.

Poison by intraperitoneal route. Moderately toxic by ingestion. Experimental reproductive effects. Questionable carcinogen with experimental neoplastigenic data. Mutation data reported. When heated to decomposition it emits toxic fumes of NOx and NazO.
