Synthesis
N-(2-THIOPHENECARBOMYL)PYRIDINIUM BROMIDE was synthesized by reacting thiophene, acetic anhydride with bromine in the presence of cuprous bromide to give (2-bromoacetyl)thiophene, then combined with pyridinium salt.
