C 16 methylated with a C 17 ester: hydrocortisone

aceponate (17-propionate and 21-acetate), methylpred-
nisolone aceponate, and prednicarbate. It is sometimes
hydrolyzed in vivo into hydrocortisone, giving allergic
reactions to group-A-sensitized people.
