Indication

It is used for the treatment of seborrheic dermatitis, acne, superficial skin fungal infection, tinea versicolor, callus, corns and common warts.

Adverse reaction

1, can cause contact dermatitis, the skin, mucous membrane has a weak irritation, such as through the damaged skin and wound absorption, can lead to mucous edema.

2, because this product can be absorbed through the skin or ulcer surface, in infants and children should not be high concentration, large area use.

3. Symptoms of poisoning include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, dizziness, severe or persistent headache, fatigue or weakness, agitation or irritability, drowsy contemplative sleep, night sweats, bradycardia, and shortness of breath.

4. Methemoglobinemia can occur when children apply this product to wounds.

5, due to the anti-thyroid effect of this product, the systemic reaction is similar to phenol poisoning, but convulsions often occur.

Pharmacological action

1% ~ 2% concentration has anti-corrosion, bactericidal, fungicidal, astringent, antipruritic and cuticle promoting effect, 5% ~ 20% concentration has keratolytic effect, can make the cuticle peel, 40% concentration has corrosion effect. It can be absorbed through the skin or ulcerated surface.

Application:

1 resorcinol, also known as 1, 3-resorcinol, commonly known as resorcinol. The intermediate 3-chloro-4-methyl coumarin and herbicide ethoxyflufen are used in the synthesis of insecticide phosphor on pesticides, and can also be used in the manufacture of a variety of dyes, special coatings, medicine, photosensitive materials, synthetic resins, adhesives, cosmetics and so on.

4 Resorcinol is mainly used in rubber adhesives, synthetic resins, dyes, preservatives, medicine and analytical reagents, etc. Resorcinol is similar to phenol and cresol, and forms condensation polymers with formaldehyde, which can be used to make viscose silk and nylon tire cord binder, prepare wood adhesive, and be used to bond vinyl materials with metals. Resorcinol is the intermediate of many azo dyes and fur dyes, and also the raw material of p-nitrosalicylic acid in pharmaceutical intermediates. Resorcinol has a bactericidal effect, can be used as a preservative, added to cosmetics and dermatological drug paste and ointment. A derivative of resorcinol, beta-methylumbellione, is an intermediate in optical bleach, trinitroresorcinol is a detonator, and considerable quantities of resorcinol are used in the production of benzophenone UV absorbers. This product can stimulate the skin and mucous membrane, can be absorbed quickly through the skin to cause toxicosis. The lowest lethal dose of subcutaneous injection in rats is 450mg/kg.

Matters needing attention

3. Used with soaps, cleansers, acne preparations, alcohol-containing preparations or retinoic acid, which can cause excessive skin irritation or dryness.

5, this product is toxic, this product can not be used whole body or long-term use, skin damage wound should not be painted, so as not to absorb poisoning.
