Tetrabromobisphenol A (TBBPA tetrabromobisphenolA,) is the world's largest production of bromine flame retardants, widely used in the production of electronic products and plastic and other polymer materials. Tetrabromobisphenol A belongs to is widely used and widely exist in the environment persistent organic pollutants (PersistentorganicPollutants remobilised). It has long-term residual, bioaccumulative, semi-volatile, highly toxic, carcinogenic, teratogenic and mutagenic properties in the environment, and can migrate long distances in the atmosphere and deposit back to the earth, causing pollution of environmental media such as atmosphere, water, sediment and soil and related ecosystems.

Application:

1 As a reactive flame retardant, can be used for epoxy resin, polyurethane resin, etc. As an additive flame retardant, it can be used in polystyrene, SAN resin and ABS resin

2 Tetrabromobisphenol A is widely used in plastics, rubber, textile, fiber and paper and other industries as flame retardants, such as epoxy, polycarbonate, polyester, phenolic and ABS resins, so that products have good flame retardancy and self-extinguishing. At present, it is officially used in epoxy resin for TV high pressure pack.
