乙二醇单甲醚性质、用途与生产工艺

用途乙二醇单甲醚可用作珐琅和清漆的快干溶剂，涂层稀释剂，染料工业中的渗透剂和匀染剂，亦用于印刷油墨及配制密封剂、制造增塑剂，近年来MOE越来越多地用于制药行业、航空喷气燃料防冰剂、刹车油稀释剂等，用量逐年增加。
制备方法乙二醇单甲醚可由环氧乙烷与甲醇反应而得。将甲醇加入三氟化硼乙醚络合物中，在搅拌下于25-30℃通入环氧乙烷，通完后温度自动升至38-45℃，将所得反应液用氢氰化钾-甲醇溶液中和至pH=8-9。回收甲醇，蒸馏，收集130℃以前的馏分即得粗品。再进行分馏，收集123-125℃馏分即为成品。工业生产中，将环氧乙烷与无水甲醇在高温高压下反应，不需催化剂，可得高收率的产品。
